Daniel P. Finley
Born March 5, 1977 in Ann Arbor, MI and was raised in Dexter, MI. He earned his Bachelor of Arts with Honor from Michigan State University in 1999. At Michigan State, Mr. Daniel Finley served as a student judge on the Student Judiciary, hearing disciplinary cases against University students.
As an undergrad he worked for the automobile industry on the Swing Shift at the Ford Motor Company Michigan Truck Assembly Plant, and also clerked for the law firms of Nichols, Sacks, Slank and Sweet, P.C., and Reach, Ranny and Carpenter, P.C. Mr. Daniel Finley went on to earn his Juris Doctor in upstate New York from the Syracuse University’s College of Law where he also earned the Cali Award for excellent achievement in the study of Professional Responsibility.
As a law student Mr. Daniel Finley clerked for the Ford Motor Company’s Office of General Counsel. Mr. Finley was admitted to practice law with the State Bar of Michigan in 2003. Mr. Finley was also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan in 2003. Upon entering the legal profession Mr. Finley worked at the law firm of Dobbs & Neidle, P.C. where his practice groups included litigation, ADR, employment defense, labor and corporate law.
Mr. Daniel Finley then worked in a busy Detroit litigation practice at the UAW Legal Services Plans where he handled a variety of matters in the areas of bankruptcy, real estate, insurance, family, and consumer law. Upon entering private practice in 2009 Mr. Daniel Finley has focused his practice on disability insurance, divorce, personal injury and business law.
